It makes me infuriated, that there is so much societal judgment about being fat that far too many women actually feel guilty about not looking slim when they are dying of #fuckingcancer.
She looked wonderful – and Presidential. She had an event in Philadelphia just the night before, but if she was tired or grumpy, if signing over 1,000 books and shaking over 1,000 dirty sweaty hands made her wrist ache (made MINE ache, in sympathy), she didn’t let on. She wore a bright turquoise pantsuit that set off her amazing eyes.
How do you cope with a breast cancer diagnosis while fresh into your exploration of solo polyamory? How do you ask for and accept help as needed, keep yourself and your partners happy (Hint: boundary work!), and cope with a changing body that you were struggling to love in the first place?
